Springtime is here and, as always, the river has left behind the detritus carried downstream by its high waters. We can all pitch in to help clean up our river in preparation for our cultural season.
Tevere Pulito is a multi-day celebration of the Tiber River and the spring cleaning which takes place after the winter season. Its aim is to focus attention on the positive aspects of the river environment through civic engagement of associations, schools and and others. We welcome your participation.
In partnership with Retake Roma, AMA Context Travel and the Context Foundation for Sustainable Travel, John Cabot University Grassroots Club, Trastevere Attiva and other local and international organizations, the event will be a morning of collective volunteer activities on Rome’s urban riverfront, starting below Ponte Sisto on the left (Via Giulia) bank. Please join us!
